Job description

Fountain Tire Edmonton (Heritage), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Advisor!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
  • Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
  • Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
  • Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
  • Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
  • Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
  • Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
  • Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

  • Entry level role, some experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations
  • Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
