Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Supervisor, the Computer Support Specialist provides technical assistance to customers via telephone calls, emails, over the internet, as well as hands on training for customers, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Learn and stay current on all supported Adobe software

Learn and stay current on all Walsworth Publishing Company's created plug-ins for support

Adobe applications

Learn and stay current on all Walsworth Publishing Company's created stand-alone software

Support the customers via telephone, email, Chats. and on-site training, always staying polite,

professional and positive representative of Walsworth Publishing Company

Test developing Enhancements and stand-alone software

Research problems for customers regarding corrupt, un-workable or problematic pages

Assist in researching problems or conflicts with current and developing products

Train customers in a one on one and group setting on all software and Enhancements provided

by Walsworth Publishing Company

Complete other duties as assigned.

Provide additional support for colleagues

Provide support for internal personnel

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop is a plus. Previous Customer Service experience is needed.
