OPT allows international students to work in their area of study for up to 12 months after graduation, or up to 36 months if they qualify for the STEM extension. Entry level positions usually require basic coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with common programming languages. These jobs often serve as a stepping stone to more advanced roles in the tech industry.
