Job description

Preco is hiring multiple Production Associates for various shifts as a full-time job in Somerset, WI. These positions range from entry level to experienced personnel.
Off shifts are eligible for shift differential pay!
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for set-up, manufacturing, and quality testing of parts using automated equipment designed to provide maximum safety, efficiency, and conformance to customer specifications.
Preco is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision automated processing systems for high-speed and precision cutting, perforating, welding, and other specialized industrial processing applications. With our proprietary die cutting and laser-based manufacturing capabilities, Preco has also become one of the largest contract manufacturing service providers in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate custom designed, laser based machinery to process material or parts in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections of finished parts.
  • Operate automated equipment using written work instructions.
  • Package and route parts to shipping with required paperwork.
  • Experienced operators will program equipment to perform various cutting and welding operations. This involves writing and debugging CNC programming similar to a CNC machinist’s duties.
  • Various other duties as directed by Supervisor.


Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of technical experience
  • 1+ years of industrial experience
  • Programming and computer knowledge. Understanding basic troubleshooting and software settings
  • Strong multitasking skills
