Job Summary:
Netpace Inc is seeking a Senior Staff Research Engineer specializing in Computer Graphics. The role involves innovating and developing AR/VR solutions, designing immersive experiences, and integrating various technologies into projects.
Responsibilities:
• You will innovate, develop, advance, publish and patent computer graphics, AR/VR solutions
• Prototype interactive AR/VR projects for mobile platforms
• Design rich media and immersive experiences for mobile phones
• Create and implement artistic demos, integrated graphics, visual effects and games including level design, narrative elements, game dynamics
• Design software tools, asset pipelines, visual interfaces and functionalities to promote fast and agile proof-of-concept development for mobile phone systems and end-user programs
• Integrate CV, AI, Client technologies into AR/VR projects
Qualifications:
Required:
• PhD, MS+3, MFA+3 or equivalent in CG, CS, EE, HCR, Arts, Design or a related field
• Very strong experience with Unity 3D or UE4
• Portfolio of work samples for AR/VR
• Ability to create a consistent and photorealistic style
• Hands-on experience in software and prototype development for AR/VR, in particular for Android
• Solid understanding of modern 3D graphics API, shaders, shading languages and rendering techniques
• Extensive experience in UX design, have a real passion for creating amazing looking user interfaces, 3D content, 3D scenes and scenarios
• Experience working on a game from start to finish, delivering assets efficiently and effectively
• Excellent implementation skills in Python, C/C++, C#, or Java
• Experience in computer vision technologies and multimedia processing
• Highly motivated to work as a team player and as an individual contributor
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
• Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English
