Compensation & Benefits Analyst – Plano TX

The North Texas Tollway Authority is seeking an Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join their team in Plano, Texas. This role supports NTTA’s compensation, benefits, and leave administration programs while assisting with job analysis, salary surveys, job evaluations, and pay programs.

$68,092 – $89,594

Job Summary

Compensation & Benefits Analyst assists with the administration of NTTA’s leave of absence programs, benefits and compensation programs. This entry-level position also assists with job analysis, salary surveys, job evaluation and pay programs.

Job Duties
  • Reviews and provides recommendations for new hire salary justifications, internal movements (promotion, demotion, lateral transfers), and internal equity.
  • Evaluates job classification requests, job architecture for alignment within the job family and organizational-wide impact.
  • Participates in or creates compensation studies and participates in compensation surveys.
  • Assists with administration of benefit plans by reconciling payroll deductions/employer contributions, processing payments to vendors, responding to general questions, and disseminating information.
  • Advises employees regarding eligibility and coverage provisions for medical, dental, vision, group life, disability, and retirement plans; delivers new hire orientation and other related employee/supervisor training.
Education & Experience Required Levels

Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of related experience in benefits, compensation, and/or leave programs.

Preferred Education, Experience, or Skills

Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements

Indoor/office setting: sitting at a desk working on a computer; relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Sedentary – may exert up to 10 lbs occasionally; otherwise negligible. Sitting most of the time.
