This role is designed for an early-career finance professional who is eager to build financial acumen, strengthen digital and analytical skills, and support finance activities that guide business decisions. The analyst will support operating expense analysis, financial modeling, forecast and variance analysis, dashboard development, and business-ready presentation materials. The role will provide exposure to key finance processes and business drivers, including P&L performance, balance sheet impacts, cash flow considerations, and financial storytelling, while building experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, ERP systems, and emerging AI-enabled finance tools.

Deliver reliable financial reports, dashboards, and analysis tools that improve visibility to business performance Provide accurate and timely financial models, forecast support, and scenario analysis to assess performance against financial guardrails Communicate clear financial insights, risks, opportunities, and variance explanations that support business partner discussions and decision-making Support recurring finance activities, including data gathering, expense tracking, forecast updates, month-end analysis, and ad hoc stakeholder requests Improve use of digital tools, dashboards, Excel models, and AI-enabled approaches to increase efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate recurring finance processes and reporting activities Document learnings, process improvements, or reusable templates that can be leveraged by the broader finance team Demonstrate growth in financial acumen, business understanding, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field Foundational financial acumen, including understanding of P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong communication, collaboration, networking, and presentation skills Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners and translate stakeholder needs into clear finance support Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to dashboarding, data visualization, ERP systems, or AI-enabled finance tools Agility to manage competing priorities, shift across assignments, and work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations Curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and willingness to learn from experienced finance and business professionals Interest in process improvement, simplification, and digital ways of working to support finance transformation priorities Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $68,400.00 - $102,600.00.
