Job description

We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and professional Entry-Level Public Relations Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in public relations, communications, marketing, community outreach, and customer engagement.

As a Public Relations Assistant, you will support day-to-day communication and outreach activities, help represent the company professionally, and assist with initiatives designed to increase brand awareness and strengthen relationships with customers and the community.

Previous public relations experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day public relations and communications activities
  • Represent the company at community events, promotional activities, and public-facing engagements
  • Communicate professionally with customers, community members, partners, and team members
  • Assist with outreach initiatives designed to increase brand awareness and community engagement
  • Help distribute promotional, informational, and marketing materials
  • Support customer and community engagement activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in public relations, communications, marketing, customer service, sales, hospitality, or community outreach is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable personality
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and members of the public
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
