What is an entry level commercial insurance job?

An entry level commercial insurance job typically involves assisting with the sale and management of insurance policies for businesses. Employees in these roles may help process applications, gather client information, provide customer service, and support senior agents or underwriters. The position is a great starting point for those looking to build a career in the insurance industry, as it offers exposure to various types of commercial insurance products and the opportunity to learn about risk assessment and policy management. Entry level roles often require strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

To excel as an Entry Level Commercial Insurance professional, you need a basic understanding of insurance principles, strong analytical abilities, and at least a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
