Join our team as a versatile Deli Attendant at our InCafe'! We're looking for a dynamic team member with sharp cash handling skills and a flair for fast-paced food service! If you can juggle cash, cards, and vouchers with accuracy—and flip a burger while you're at it—you’re our kind of multitasker.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate must possess excellent and accurate cash handling skills to include but not limited to cash, credit cards, vouchers, discounts and other programs as approved by management. Candidate must have basic kitchen knowledge and understand basic culinary terms and have some mechanical skills.  Candidate must have knowledge of the use of basic tools to include, but not limited to peelers, assorted knives, ovens, grills, and fryolators.  Candidate must understand the basic sanitation skills and be able to sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, and utensils according to proper industry standards, within specified time lines.  Candidate must have a working knowledge of necessary equipment and to alert their Supervisors on duty of any equipment failures or needed maintenance immediately.  Candidate is required to replenish Guest facing supplies (i.e. salt/pepper, ketchup, etc.), prepare/cook items to order and maintain and replenish display cases. Candidate must maintain a positive and polite demeanor in a fast-paced friendly environment.  Candidate is responsible for all other duties as assigned.  

  • Candidate must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and complete tasks with a “sense of urgency.” 
  • Candidate will be expected to perform their duties in various climates and conditions due to equipment that uses water, steam, chemicals, and heat for safe maintaining of food contact surfaces. 
  • Candidate will do entry level kitchen duties to include but not limited to: proper cleaning and paring of vegetables, prepare items as needed to include, but not limited to broiling, sautéing, frying, boiling, steaming, baking, and grilling. 
  • Ensures the cleanliness, sanitation, and proper presentation of food lines.
  • Takes and records temperatures at required times to maintain health code requirements.
  • Follows procedures to ensure proper food and personal safety.
  • Ensures that all areas are kept up to Department standards for public space viewing.
  • Maintains a positive and polite demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle cash, voucher/comp and credit card transactions efficiently and with minimal mistakes while maintaining PCI compliance.  Follow all Company Cash Handling procedures/policies as directed.
  • Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.  Candidate must be committed to 100% customer service! Candidate must also be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Candidate must be able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Candidate must have a working knowledge of safe power use and storage of foods for human consumption.  Candidate must have a strong ability to perform functions with minimum supervision and follow information on daily production schedules and checklists.  Candidate must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and special events. Candidate must understand that hours will also vary between day and evening shifts.  Candidate must be able to endure heat and moist conditions with reasonable accommodation.  Team Members will be required to learn and be tested on a variety of new products, recipes along with new service and preparation techniques on a regular basis to ensure the department is improving as a whole. Candidate must be able to obtain appropriate licensing.
