Entry-Level Patient Records Specialist - Murray, UT (Full-Time)
Join a growing healthcare team and help ensure accurate, secure patient records that support quality care.
What you'll do:
• Maintain and update patient records within EHR systems
• Process medical records requests and documentation in a timely manner
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy
• Upload referrals, imaging reports, test results, and other clinical documentation
• Manage scanned documents, faxes, and incoming/outgoing correspondence
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely record management
• Support billing, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks as needed
What we're looking for:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical records, health information, or a medical office setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record confidentiality
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred (AdvancedMD is a plus)
