Sales Support Analyst

Graymont is seeking a Sales Support Analyst to support its Western commercial team by delivering clear and actionable market intelligence. In this role, you will analyze regional supplydemand trends, pricing dynamics, and customer activity, providing insights that shape strategic decisions. You will also develop tools and models that translate market insights into practical sales opportunities, helping the team enhance customer solutions and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is business?minded and curious about understanding markets, customer behavior, and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis to support commercial strategy across the Western region.
  • Monitor supplydemand fundamentals, pricing drivers, competitive activity, and segment trends.
  • Build and maintain tools, models, and reports that provide actionable insights to the commercial team.
  • Support pricing processes, including data gathering, analysis, and recommendation development.
  • Assist with preparation and execution of customer and industry events, presentations, and commercial initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics team to support sales activities, ensuring alignment between customer needs, delivery schedules, and commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing to ensure consistent and accurate market information.
  • Provide regular updates and insights that help identify new opportunities and support overall revenue growth.
  • Manage PO's, subscriptions, events and storage locker
  • Travel throughout North America (US & Canada) up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or early ? career professionals. Exposure to data analysis, market research, or business analytics through internships, co ? ops, or academic projects is an asset.
  • Technology Requirements: Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with modeling and reporting techniques. (Cognos BI and JDE will be used) ability to learn
  • Additional Assets: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, practical insights.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to prepare clear summaries, presentations, and recommendations.
