The Foster Klima agency is in MN, ND, and SD. We can only hire individuals who reside in MN, ND, West Wisconsin, North Iowa, and SD. As a full-time Entry Level Sales Advisor for Foster Klima, there are no Sales Territories. Our Advisors can do business with any client who resides in the USA.

We are seeking an eager, strategic, and definitive financial advisor to fill an entry-level position that offers room for growth and a promising job outlook. Our ideal candidate will be driven by the need to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals through a variety of planning services. Join our team to begin honing your skills related to risk management, estate planning, debt and investment management, real estate, retirement planning, mutual funds, investment options, and more. Compensation:

$80,000 – $105,000 First Year Average


Responsibilities:
  • Make strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations and financial advice to help clients reach their monetary goals
  • Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions
  • Gather and assess each client’s financial information to accurately determine factors including financial status, cash flow, monetary expectations, financial goals, retirement plans, and additional factors related to wealth management
  • Serve as a collaborative team player willing to further development through continued training opportunities
  • Create customized financial plans for each client based on his or her life stage, professional circumstances, and fluctuating financial needs

What You’ll Do

  • Build relationships with clients in your community and beyond
  • Learn to assess financial needs and create customized plans
  • Receive ongoing support and mentorship from experienced advisors
  • Use modern tools and technology to manage client accounts
  • Grow a client base through networking and referrals

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential
  • Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferred
  • Stellar communication and math skills complemented by a proven track record of building strong client relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required
