Job description

Originates loans from application to closing and work closely with Escrow, Title and all parties involved. This position underwrites and processes new loan requests. Manages new and existing clients.
  • Assist Closing Manager of packaging and closing of all loans generated by SBA Department
  • Review loan files to comply with SBA and the Bank regulations.
  • Comply with SBA guidelines, procedures and eligibility requirement.
  • Correspond with customer's request relating to SBA generated accounts.
  • Coordinate and assist with Closing Manager for Loan sales to secondary market.
  • Certify SBA GL Accounts as needed.
  • Comply with the Bank's security program, including but not limited to:
  • Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement.
  • Acquire good knowledge on functions and usage of computer systems as related to the assigned job functions.
  • Be current and knowledgeable in industry's trend in safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leak, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats.
  • Reports suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer or Information Security Officer.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
Education/Credentials
  • College degree preferred but not required

Prior Experience
  • Bank experience preferred but not required

Technical Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints
  • Ability to make effective persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

The salary range for this full-time position is $28.85 Hourly - $43.27 Hourly + bonus + benefits
