Franchise Branch Sr. Financial Consultants are not employees of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.; they are employees of the Franchise Branch Owner and are Registered Representatives and Associated Persons of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

The Schwab Franchise Branch in Horsham, PA is looking for a Franchise Branch Sr. Financial Consultant with a passion for serving clients.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

  • Franchise Branch Sr. Financial Consultants help grow the profile and business of the Schwab Franchise Branch through client referrals, marketing events, and proactive engagement with clients and prospects
  • At the direction of the Franchise Branch Owner, Franchise Branch Sr. Financial Consultants help establish, deepen, and grow Schwab client by sourcing and networking, providing outstanding service, and ultimately appropriate investment guidance and advice based on client needs

  • Franchise Branch Sr. Financial Consultants are self-motivated, creative thinkers, and are committed to providing outstanding service and building long-term client relationships with Schwab

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

Required minimum skills and qualifications are:

  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7

  • Active and valid Series 66 (or 63/65) license (may be obtained within 90 days of starting in the FC role)

  • Active and valid insurance license (may be obtained within one year of staring the FC role)

  • Three years successful proactive sales experience encompassing client solutions in the financial services industry

  • Strong industry and market knowledge

  • Excellent consultative, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Proven success in developing and managing client relationships

  • Knowledgeable with client management software and broad computer skills

In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Certified Financial Planner or other financial services industry designation
