    Job Description
    INSPECTION TECHNICIAN
    Job Summary:
    The Inspection Helper will assist job Foreman and crew with various duties associated with inspection of steel structures.
    Job Duties:
    • Assists with staging equipment
    • Assists with operations of drone equipment
    • Takes photos of structures
    • Takes thickness readings for steel structures
    • Document work as needed
    • Climb and inspect towers for defects, safety, and code violations
    • The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned

    Qualifications:
    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
    • Must be comfortable with working in high places
    • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
    • Works well with a team
    • Able to drive a company vehicle safely to field sites
    • Possesses strong problem-solving skills
    • Manages time effectively
    • Detail-oriented
    • Must be willing to travel 4 to 5 weeks at a time across the country
    • Ability to lift 40lbs on regular basis
    • Ability to pass OSHA 10.
    • Ability to pass CPR/First Aid.
    • Ability to pass RF Awareness.
    • Ability to pass Tower Climbing Certifications including Tower Rescue (Comtrain)
    • Comfortable with climbing heights up to 2000'
    • Valid driver's license and pass insurance requirements to drive a company vehicle.

    Physical Demands
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
