Can Press Operator
Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. We Design, Optimize and Protect Brands. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. With our world headquarters located in Cincinnati, we have over 450 employees throughout the United States and offices in Europe and Asia.
The Can Press Operator will operate our state-of-the-art Can Press Decorator, ensuring precision and quality in every production run. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and strong time management skills. You'll work hands-on with equipment while also utilizing computer software to monitor and adjust production settings.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Operate the Can Press Decorator to produce high-quality pilot cans
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in print work aligning with design specifications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines
  • Use computer software to monitor production metrics and adjust settings as needed

Qualifications Include:
  • Experience with printing processes, color measurement, art separations, and platemaking preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision work
  • Comfortable working hands-on with machinery and equipment
  • Basic computer skills for equipment monitoring and adjustments
  • Previous manufacturing or printing operations experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
