Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Centerin Lecanto, FL
Cypress Creek is a max security residential program for at-risk male youth. Through our trained programming for staff, we promote a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. SHIFTS: 9pm through 9am
Pay: $19.00 per hour

What you will do: A Direct Juvenile Support Worker (Coach Counselor) provides in person safety and security around-the-clock. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. Direct Juvenile Support Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth's needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Direct Juvenile Support Worker will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
~ There is no previous experience required for this role, as training will be provided. We are looking for individuals that are consistent, fair, punctual, motivated, and structure-oriented. If you have prior experience in similar facilities, any military training and/or relevant education, you may be eligible to start above entry-level. ~
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
