University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Inkster, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship in a respectful and professional manner.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and transferring
- Help with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient personality
