Job description

Architectural Draftsman Position
Nationally franchised outdoor building company, Archadeck Outdoor Living, is looking for a residential Draftsman to provide sales design drawings to its franchise network of design/builders of decks, porches, patios and other outdoor living spaces. This individual will participate in the company's ongoing efforts to maintain and produce quality construction standards and documentation for its franchise owners.
Responsibilities include:
  • Producing computer-aided 2D and 3D renderings for outdoor living spaces
  • Communicating with franchisees, designers, and consultants to accurately prepare sales drawings
  • Working with peers and franchisees to understand and provide support with their designs

Requirements:
  • Experience with CAD (SoftPlan experience a plus)
  • Problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills and the ability juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications desired
  • Good communication and customer services skills
