This role involves making daily decisions that maximize profitability and has a large impact on sales, margin, and inventory.**50%: Buying/Forecasting** Create and maintain buys for all business units, including any negotiations with factories on delays, shortages, or overages Execute necessary revisions to buys, driven by changes in customer demand and/or changes in global supply chain operation Monitor vendor performance and execute any logistic changes needed to meet expected deliverables Manage the physical flow of inventory to support both customer demand and warehouse capacities Publish monthly costing and capacity supply forecasts to factories, sourcing, and production teams**30%: Order management** Proactively monitors and analyzes customer purchase orders and all related aspects. Determine the business impact of any delivery issues, prioritize, and communicate any issues related to product flow as they arise Communicate with transportation/warehouse teams to execute shipments to customers on time.
