Business Development Representative (Hybrid – Austin, TX)

Compensation & Growth

  • Hourly base: $20.00/hour
  • Commission & incentives: Uncapped
  • Target first-year earnings: $50,000–$60,000 (top performers exceed this)
  • Pay schedule: Hourly + commissions paid bi-monthly

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule: Once ramped, your schedule will be hybrid with some days in the office and others from your home workspace.
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
  • Location: Austin, TX

What You’ll Do

Outbound Sales & Lead Generation

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers
  • Identify needs and educate prospects on LumenServe’s services
  • Set meetings and move opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Team up with outside sales to create proposals using our CRM and sales tools

Account Management

  • Manage follow-up with prospects
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
  • Support the outside sales team when needed

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales leadership and marketing
  • Participate in coaching, call reviews, and team meetings
  • Contribute to team goals while living our company values

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent outbound activity and prospect engagement
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly performance goals
  • Strong follow-up and organization in the CRM
  • Coachability and continuous improvement
  • Typical activity includes 20–40 outbound calls per day and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our outside sales team
  • You are not responsible for closing deals. Your focus is finding opportunities and setting qualified meetings
