Job description

Description:

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Analyst (Entry-Level) to support both office and manufacturing operations. This role provides technical assistance across the organization, including laptop replacements, help desk support, basic system administration, and participation in network and infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate is versatile—comfortable troubleshooting office applications one moment and assisting with production-floor technology the next.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to both office and floor personnel through ticketing systems, phone, and in-person requests.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and ruggedized computers for use in office and manufacturing environments.
  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Support core business applications, printers, and network-connected equipment across corporate and production areas.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, software, and hardware issues to ensure minimal downtime for production and office staff.
  • Participate in server maintenance and routine system administration tasks, including patching and updates.
  • Assist in network upgrade projects—running cabling, installing switches, and verifying device connectivity.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory for corporate and factory equipment, documenting configuration and deployment details.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and supervisors to ensure IT systems support production efficiency and uptime.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on safe and effective technology use, especially in shared or industrial areas.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Experience supporting hardware in industrial or mixed-use environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently in both office and plant settings.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools.
  • Familiarity with wired and wireless network diagnostics and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, label printing, or production-floor user interfaces.
  • CompTIA A+/Network+ or related certification (or working toward one).

What We Offer

  • A dynamic work environment supporting both front-office and plant operations.
  • Opportunities to learn from seasoned IT professionals and gain exposure to enterprise and operational technologies.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development support.
