Job Description Summary
Dauch is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our world-class team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a leading company in the automotive industry, where you will have the chance to contribute to the flawless execution of our manufacturing processes. This role located at our Gallatin plant in Gallatin, TN.
The Junior Finance Analyst supports the Controller in analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing costs. The role focuses on cost transparency, variance analysis, and supporting management decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting.
Job Description:
  • Support analysis of manufacturing financial performance, including cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margin and absorption variances
  • Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain and procurement to understand cost drivers
  • Monitor and report key manufacturing KPIs (labor efficiency, material usage, scrap, yield, overtime, cost per ton)
  • Help maintain standard cost data and support reviews of actual vs. standard variances
  • Help improve financial processes and internal controls.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with non-finance stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting
  • Solid understanding of basic cost accounting and financial principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN) is an advantage
