Job description

Junior Financial Analyst – Recent Graduates
Retirement Services | Columbus, OH

We’re hiring for a Junior Financial Analyst opportunity supporting financial advisors and branch employees with retirement accounts, products, and related inquiries.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to start their career in financial services. Relevant internship experience will be considered.

Location: Columbus, OH | Onsite
Pay: $22–$24/hour
Contract: 6+ months with possibility of extension or conversion

Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from financial advisors and branch employees regarding Retirement Services
  • Research and resolve inquiries using internal and external resources
  • Support questions related to retirement accounts, contributions, distributions, and tax procedures
  • Follow established procedures and route requests to the appropriate teams
  • Escalate complex issues for further research and resolution
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing a high level of service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Required
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to handle and de-escalate difficult interactions
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to different situations
  • Relevant internship experience will be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services or banking experience
  • Experience with retirement products
  • Brokerage experience
  • Current or previous Series 7
