Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY Clean Gulf Associates, Inc. (also called "Clean Gulf" or "CGA") is a not-for-profit oil spill cooperative dedicated to the Gulf of Mexico's exploration and production (E&P) industry as well as the public it serves, which provides continuous coverage, state-of-the-art equipment, and expert personnel to assist our members in mitigating marine incidents and protecting natural ecosystems. Clean Gulf Associates Services is offering an excellent opportunity for an Entry Level Responder who is ready to join our outstanding organization.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual that can perform preventative maintenance, basic corrective maintenance and repair, as well as provide support in all phases of oil spill response operations. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, GED or equivalent A Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card, Passport and complete the required training (40 Hour HAZWOPER and Respiratory FIT testing are mandatory). Above average computer skillset (preferably in an Apple/Mac environment).

Prior experience with maintenance programs preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to operate industrial equipment in a safe manner No spill response experience is necessary but a strong mechanical aptitude, desire to work on/off the water in inclement weather conditions and for extended periods are required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations which include preventative and corrective maintenance on all CGA equipment.

Ability to safely operate equipment in accordance with policies, regulations and procedures. Responsible for assisting and participating in US Coast Guard (USCG) and Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) inspections and unannounced drills. Complete and submit appropriate paperwork and reports (manually and electronically) as required, including but not limited to: the preparation of Approved Request for Payment (ARP's) for vendor and contractor billing, time records, maintenance and safety reports.

Possess a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of Clean Gulf's equipment, logistics and maintenance standards. Ability to learn and operate small marine vessels. Manage support service functions during spill response operations, including but not limited to deploying, retrieving and processing boom and sorbent materials.

Execution of Clean Gulf's Planned Maintenance Programs. Availability to report to the worksite within a 2-hour recall notice and work for an extended duration offshore. Opportunity for additional responsibilities to include drone operations (FAA test and licensing sponsored by the company).

Perform other duties as assigned. SHIFT INFORMATION The standard work schedule for an Entry Level Responder is Monday – Friday from 0700 to 1530. May be required to work extended (> 8 hour) time periods.

Note that in emergency response situations these periods can extend beyond 8 hours, up to 12-24 hours; Because of the emergency response and operational nature of this position, a continuing condition of employment is that the applicant/candidate acknowledges and agrees to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and on occasion will require work during week-ends and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain or dry environments.
