Position Overview
The Business Analyst supports the successful delivery of software solutions by bridging business needs with product and engineering execution. This role is responsible for understanding functional requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that features are delivered with clarity, quality, and alignment to customer expectations. The Business Analyst plays a key role in requirements definition, user acceptance validation, and day-to-day project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
  • Support backlog grooming by documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional workflows.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions to ensure functional alignment and timely delivery.
  • Conduct functional testing and user acceptance validation to confirm that delivered features meet documented requirements.
  • Assist in preparing customer-facing materials such as release notes, feature walkthroughs, and training documentation.
  • Monitor progress of assigned features or work-streams, escalating risks or blockers to leadership as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clarifying requirements and ensuring cross-team alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency, documentation quality, and team collaboration.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand both technical and business perspectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise language.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Interest in learning enterprise software, workflow design, and functional solutions
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, offshore development teams, and be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones
  • Willing to travel to customer sites 4-6 times a year

Preferred Skills
  • Software lifecycle experience
  • AI experience or background
  • Process mapping and functional requirement documentation experience
  • Background in the financial sector, case management, and/or public sector is a plus
