Position Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Billing Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience with billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and eager to learn. Recent graduates and candidates with internship, administrative, customer service, or accounting experience are encouraged to apply!


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely
  • Review billing information for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter and maintain billing data within the accounting/ERP system
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer questions
  • Assist with posting payments and maintaining customer account records
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with follow-up on past-due balances
  • Reconcile billing records and customer accounts as needed
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding billing inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and organized billing documentation
  • Assist the accounting team with Accounts Receivable and other accounting-related tasks
  • Support month-end billing and reporting processes
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 0โ€“2 years of billing, accounting, finance, or related experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
