Job description

Bakery Team Member

The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking to add new faces to our AWESOME bakery team! We are a high volume, from scratch production bakery providing over 250,000 loaves of bread (plus thousands of pastries and specialty baked goods) each year for use in our bakeshop and dining rooms. Our early morning bakery packagers are responsible for putting the finishing touches on select bakery products, slicing bread, packaging baked goods to protect freshness, labeling/pricing items for display, and stocking the Bakeshop with bakery items before the store opens. Prior production bakery experience is always welcome, but not required. This is a great entry level bakery opportunity for those looking to pursue baking & pastry careers with little or no experience.

Position Details:
  • Wage: Starting at $14.75 per hour
  • Part Time: 20-30 hours per week
  • Shift Times: Typically, 4am-12pm, but may have some variation based on production needs
  • Weekend & holiday availability required
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours
  • Must be able to perform continual light to moderate lifting– up to 50 pounds
  • Strong math skills required to calculate packaging needs
