Business Development amp; Marketing Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Job Summary
Tradewind Flight Services is seeking a results-driven Marketing amp; Business Development Specialist to support the growth of its Flight Academy operations. This role is responsible for executing marketing strategies, identifying new business opportunities, leading capture efforts, and strengthening client relationships across commercial aviation, military training, and government sectors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
-Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
-Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach and networking.
-Support proposals, pitches, presentations, and client follow-up.
-Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions.
  • Marketing:
-Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
-Manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
-Create marketing content including social media posts and presentations.
-Track and report on campaign performance.
-Coordinate participation in events, trade shows, and networking activities.
  • Capture Management:
-Lead end-to-end capture efforts for targeted opportunities.
-Develop capture plans including teaming strategies, pricing, and technical solutions.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to align capture strategies.
  • Client amp; Partner Relationship Management:
-Represent D2FA at conferences, briefings, and networking events.
-Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Internal Collaboration amp; Reporting:
-Report on marketing activity, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
-Provide insights to improve services, pricing, and strategy.
Qualifications
Experience in marketing, business development, or capture management.
Experience with government contracting or aviation preferred.
