We are looking for motivated individuals to join our production team as Fabricators. This is a new role designed to streamline our workflow and serves as a perfect "foot in the door" for recent welding school graduates looking to build a career in high-end automotive manufacturing.

Position Summary

As a Fabricator, you will be the backbone of our production line. You will be responsible for the "pre-weld" phase of our exhaust systems. You will take raw materials and blueprints and transform them into complete kits, ready for our senior TIG welders to finish.

This position is ideal for someone who has a foundation in welding and fabrication but wants to master the art of fitment, tight tolerances, and shop flow before moving into a full-time welding role.

Key Responsibilities

• Kitting: Organize and prep all necessary components (flanges, hangers, tubing) for specific production runs.
• Cutting & Measuring: Use horizontal and vertical saws to cut stainless steel tubing to precise lengths based on technical drawings.
• Tube Processing: Operate machinery to expand, notch, and de-burr stainless steel tubing to ensure perfect fitment.
• Quality Control: Use calipers, tape measures, and angle finders to ensure every part meets our strict tolerance standards.
• Staging: Organize completed kits for the welding department to ensure a seamless hand-off to the TIG Fabricators.
• Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe workspace and perform basic maintenance on cutting and notching equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: Recent graduate of a Technical School welding or fabrication program (required).
• Technical Skills: Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16” and basic understanding of blueprints/technical drawings.
• Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with hand tools, cold saws, and grinders.
• Detail Oriented: You understand that in high-performance exhaust, a 1/8” mistake is a big deal.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Punctuality is key for our production flow (7:30 AM start).
