We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Component facility in Miami, Florida. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of aircraft components undergoing maintenance and repair.
**Important Notice
 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Layout, assemble, and wire electrical panels, enclosures, and test boxes in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, Bills of Material (BOM), and technical documentation.
  • Design, build, and support custom electrical test boxes, harnesses, and control interfaces used for aviation component testing, diagnostics, and shop support equipment.
  • Drill, cut, modify, and mount electrical components into enclosures and assemblies using hand tools and power equipment such as saws, drills, crimpers, and related shop tools safely and effectively.
  • Wire control panels and electrical assemblies according to engineering specifications, schematics, and approved documentation.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and safe wiring practices.
  • Build, inspect, and test wire harnesses, connectors, and electrical assemblies using proper tooling, workmanship standards, and quality practices.
  • Perform electrical testing, including continuity checks, voltage verification, current measurements, and functional testing using multimeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and other test equipment.
  • Support the development and troubleshooting of electrical systems used in test stands and shop equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to specify, source, and order required electrical materials and components.
  • Document wiring changes, assist with the creation of wiring diagrams, and support the development of test procedures and technical documentation.
  • Assist with LabVIEW-based test systems and automation programs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
  • Entry-level candidates are acceptable; hands-on training can be provided.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies.
  • Hands-on experience with wiring, crimping, soldering, panel assembly, or electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • LabVIEW software experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD tools is preferred; PCB layout experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FAA, aerospace, repair station, or MRO standards is a plus.
  • PC-literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work safely in a hands-on technical environment.
