America's Auto Auction is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. America's Auto Auction facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 19 states as well as on digital platforms.

America's Auto Auction has grown to over 40+ locations across 19 states. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our employees and communities we serve.

We are seeking to expand our team by adding to our Lot Operation Staff. This is an entry level position.


SUMMARY:

The Lot Staff remains on the lot and moves vehicles from various parking locations, shops/departments The Lot Staff does NOT transport vehicles to or from dealerships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Always provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
  2. Always exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with customers.
  3. Assist customers with questions and/or concerns.
  4. Ensure cars are parked in proper location based on run number on windshield on sale day.
  5. Start and or jump start, if necessary, every vehicle in assigned lane prior to sale time. Lift hood on all vehicles that do not start. Roll down or crack driver’s side window.
  6. Ensure keys are in ignition for all vehicles in your lane on sale day.
  7. Be in assigned lane and verify lane according to run list prepared for sale when auction starts.
  8. Keep vehicles moving throughout the lane through the sale with all doors unlocked.
  9. Ensure the vehicle is as close to its’ original spot as possible with windows up when parking it when exiting lane.
  10. Work well independently as well as a team player.
  11. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
  12. Performs other duties as necessary.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license
  • Able to maneuver large and small vehicles into small and tight spaces.
  • Able to drive a standard shift transmission is a plus.
  • Able to use android base tablet and phone.
  • Experience using a 2-way hand handle radio.
  • The employee is required regularly to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and climb up on large vehicles.
  • Requires being in good physical shape to have the stamina to perform the required duties.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Environment: Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust.
