Job description

Description
About Us
United Recovery & Remarketing has been finding vehicles for the country's largest banks since 1973. When a car needs to be located, not guessed at, actually found, we're who they call. We're partnered with all 25 of America's top auto lenders, meaning we offer built-in job security. We're a tight-knit team that values grit, sharp thinking, and getting the job done right. At United, it feels more like family than coworkers.
We're looking for another sharp mind to join our skip tracing and investigations team.
The Role
You'll use skip-tracing tools, public records, and databases to locate individuals and the vehicles tied to them. It's investigative work - piecing together information, verifying leads, and turning dead ends into results.
If you enjoy digging into data, solving problems, and getting things right, this could be a great fit. Experience is a plus, but the right mindset matters more.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm, on-site. Consistent hours you can count on.
What You'll Do
  • Work assignments using skip-tracing tools, public records, and databases
  • Verify and analyze findings for accuracy and timeliness
  • Report findings to recovery agents and management
  • Maintain clean, organized records
  • Follow all compliance requirements and company policies
  • Work with the team to hit department goals and deadlines

Benefits
Health, dental, vision, life & disability insurance • 401(k) • Paid vacation • Discounted gym membership • Vehicle Purchase Program • Real career progression • Community involvement opportunities
This isn't data entry; it's investigative work that makes a real difference in getting vehicles recovered. Join the United team today!
Requirements
  • Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Solid written and verbal communication
  • Good time management, even when workload fluctuates
  • 35+ WPM typing accuracy and strong computer/internet skills
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
