Our team has over 100 years experience developing products for major CPG and cannabis companies. Our cGMP-certified lab is based in upstate New York on Cornell University’s Technology Farm.
Premium products deserve premium ingredients. Cirona’s custom formulation approach scans an R&D library of over 900 ingredients, using data-driven science to create the most compatible match possible.

Your Role Focus

As a Compliance Technician, you’ll build a strong foundation in Cannabis Compliance by supporting regulatory compliance, QA/QC, and quality systems that keep our work aligned with GMP and always ready for review. This entry-level role is designed to help you develop practical documentation, audit, and process-improvement skills—while learning from teammates who value accuracy and follow-through.
Key responsibilities:
- Support compliance audits, inventory controls, and regulatory inspections, including Internal Auditing preparation
- Assist with QA/QC activities and ongoing compliance monitoring, helping track actions through completion
- Create, organize, and update SOPs, compliance records, process maps, and training materials
- Watch for regulatory updates and help coordinate implementation of required changes
- Help coordinate employee compliance training and maintain completion documentation
- Spot potential compliance risks, help recommend corrective actions, and produce clear, concise reports

Required knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, audits, and quality systems; understanding of cannabis industry regulations and manufacturing practices preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; basic math and reporting skills
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, implement solutions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; reliable, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
If you’re ready to grow in a hands-on Compliance Technician path, apply today.

Day in Motion

You’ll arrive onsite in Rochester, NY and, as the Compliance Technician, begin by scanning the compliance schedule and pulling the right files so the team stays on track. After a quick check-in, you’ll rotate between desk work and the floor: polishing an SOP update, confirming training sign-offs are complete, and making sure QA/QC records line up with what’s happening in real time. Later, you’ll help turn a new Cannabis Compliance or GMP requirement into a simple, actionable update—capturing questions, documenting decisions, and keeping Internal Auditing prep moving forward. Before you head out, you’ll summarize progress in a clear status note and tee up tomorrow’s documentation priorities so we stay consistently inspection-ready.

Support for Growth

As a Compliance Technician, you’ll have Medical, Dental & Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, HSA, and PTO to recharge.
