Job description

OverviewAccelerating growth by engaging partners and developing high-impact pipeline opportunities.ย As a Specialist I, Sales Development, you will play a key role in executing Shure's go-to-market strategy across the New York market. You will work closely with the partner ecosystem to convert high-quality leads into pipeline opportunities that fuel growth across your assigned territories and segments. You will collaborate with channel stakeholders to uncover customer needs, educate prospects on Shure's solutions, and help develop scalable paths to revenue. In this role, you will expand Shure's footprint by nurturing early-stage demand, strengthening partner relationships, and accelerating opportunity creation in a fast-moving market. Your success will be measured through pipeline generation, impact on revenue goals, and strong alignment with Shure's strategic priorities.ย This is a remote position, with candidates required to be located in the New York area.Responsibilities
  • Work closely with partnerย account managers andย engineersย to drive technical awareness, Shure brand building, and serve as an on-site Shure resource.ย Mayย integrateย with local partner teams to be a part of their overall culture.ย 
  • Focused on the dealer channel,ย executesย strategic plans toย identify,ย research, evaluate,ย and prioritize market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers outside ofย theย current Company revenue stream.ย 
  • Execute sales enablement training programs and product launch presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company product categories. Supports partner sales team as an extended technical consultant for customer projects
  • Works closelyย with business leadersย to communicateย growth opportunities.ย Responsible for leadย qualifications.ย Identifiesย "sales-ready" prospects andย is responsible forย cross-selling and up-selling during the tele-qualification process.ย ย 
  • Anticipates customer needs and overcomes competitive salesย objectionsย while positioning products against competition.ย Delivers prepared sales messaging for Shure products/solutions to move potential customers through the buying processย ultimately leadingย toย purchase.ย 
  • Partners withย supportedย sales team to schedule calls with prospective customers andย ensureย timelyย and effective handoffs.ย 
  • Familiar with the Marketing Plan between Shure andย dealer partner/channelย and work with the Shure Business Leader and Channel Marketing team on execution as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree inย business or relevant professional field.ย ย 
  • 0-2 years of experience as a sales account professional beyond entry level with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
  • Market experience inย Musicย Industry,ย retail, broadcast, integration, and/or productionย a plus.ย ย 
  • Demonstrates goodย judgment.ย Exercisesย judgmentย within defined procedures and practices to determineย appropriateย action.ย ย 
  • Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships.ย 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.ย ย 
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.ย 
  • Detail-oriented, professional, ambitious, well-organized, andย good timeย management skills.ย

Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline.ย The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $64,100 to $109,000.ย  This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
