Medical Technologist Non-Registered FT

As a fulltime Medical Technologist (NonRegistered), you’ll perform a wide range of analytical procedures and play a vital part in delivering reliable, highquality laboratory results for our patients and providers.

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Technologist (NonRegistered), you’ll perform technical analytical procedures across multiple laboratory disciplines on a varied shift schedule. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing testing in hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, coagulation, and phlebotomy
  • Demonstrating proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection using ageappropriate techniques
  • Ensuring safe handling, proper collection, and preservation of specimens to maintain integrity and quality
  • Correctly labeling, accessioning, and delivering specimens to appropriate departments
  • Responding promptly and professionally to STAT, ASAP, NOW, and outpatient phlebotomy requests
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instrumentation
  • Conducting, recording, and participating in the evaluation of Quality Control procedures
  • Communicating critical information to appropriate departments and alerting staff regarding STAT orders

This role blends technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication to support accurate and timely patient care.
