QUALIFICATIONS:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

1.ย  A bachelor's degree in Science or a related subject area.

2.ย  A valid Illinois Certificate Type 90 preferred.

3.ย  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

JOB GOAL:ย  To promote scientific literacy by assisting students in the development and application of scientific skills, knowledge and principles.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:ย  Tutors secondary pupils in science, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education and appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in addressing individual course content.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:ย ย ย ย ย ย 

1.ย  ย Work Year:ย 4 hours per day for 140 days or less during the 2025-26 school year.ย  The exact number of days will depend on the ย  ย  ย  start date of the chosen candidate.

2. ย ย Fringe Benefits:ย  Not Applicable

3.ย  ย Salary:ย $130.00 per day
