Now Hiring – Entry Level Assistant Maintenance Technician Phoenix, AZ 85004
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

A Commercial Vehicle Products company in Phoenix is looking for an Entry Level Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to learn.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with some or all of the following skills and abilities, learning the rest under Direction and Supervision. One who will listen and follow direction and be eager to grow and learn in this position

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in repair and troubleshoot production machinery used in commercial vehicle manufacturing
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Assist with parts management and inventory
  • Read and follow electrical schematics
  • Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC machines (experience is a plus)
  • Use a variety of hand tools safely and effectively
  • Work independently or as part of a team in a diverse workplace
  • Understanding what a solenoid is and what it does

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude: If you know your way around tools and machines, you’re what we want

  • Eager to learn more advanced systems
  • Willing to learn and take direction
  • Reliable, punctual, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, and stay active throughout the day
