Job description

ETC is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support commercial construction projects from planning through completion. Candidates must have at least 2 years of construction industry experience and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with customers and subcontractors, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications – Assistant Project Manager


Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of construction industry experience
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record


Preferred:

  • Project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with Procore, Autodesk, or similar construction management software
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and project schedules


Responsibilities – Construction Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate project activities between customers, subcontractors, installation crews, and internal staff
  • Review project requirements and ensure compliance with customer safety and background screening requirements
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs throughout project lifecycles
  • Communicate project timelines, requirements, and updates to all stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and help ensure deadlines are met
  • Support subcontractor coordination and rate negotiations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve project challenges and support successful project completion
