Temp to Hire Approach
This position begins on a temporary basis through Adecco Staffing with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This approach allows both you and the company an opportunity to ensure a strong mutual fit before making a long-term commitment. We're seeking reliable individuals who can grow with the role and make meaningful contributions to our team.
Process
After 60 days of satisfactory performance and attendance, you may be eligible for initial consideration for direct-hire conversion; however, this is not a guarantee and will depend entirely on business needs and job availability at that time.
GENERAL PURPOSE
An Operations Technician is part of our pay for skills program and allows individuals to continue to build skills providing opportunity to increase their compensation. As an entry level Operations Technician, you will assemble products and/or related parts in a manufacturing setting at a standard rate of work based on customer demand and lean manufacturing principles to satisfy the customer and to provide high quality products delivered in a timely manner. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Cross-training in other departments to learn additional functions is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assembly
  • Attaches appropriate label and tags to product and packages.
  • Checks equipment and product as needed, reports problems or issues regarding safety or quality to department supervisor.
  • Completes required paperwork correctly to ensure record accuracy.
  • Gain up to 2 skill blocks according to the skill library.
  • Maintains a clean, safe working environment according to 5s and department safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Participates in HMPS improvement activities within current department or other departments as appropriate.
  • Performs a minimum of 75% of the jobs in the department at the required rate (cycle time).
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Regular and predictable attendance based on scheduled hours.
  • Rotates through the department work stations based on business need.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Material Handler
  • Individuals with Material Handling skills receive, store, and pull raw and finished goods through the facility in a safe, accurate and timely manner, along with the proper part tracking.
  • Operate equipment (standup/ sit-down/ swing reach forklift, aerial lift) in a safe and timely manner.
  • Must maintain a valid forklift license and follow MIOSHA standards as a professional Material Handler
  • The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
  • Required to learn additional functions through cross-training in other departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Regular and predictable attendance based on scheduled hours.
  • Rotates through the department work stations based on business need.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
