This position is located within our Contract Manufacturing Operation at our Livonia MI facility. Client's Contract Manufacturing provides assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, Self driving / Autonomous vehicles & Electric vehicles just to name a few. These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis. Full-time employment opportunities may be available to the right candidates.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of recent hands on assembly experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have basic understanding of automotive systems
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must have excellent attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends when needed
