Job description

TheAssembly Technicianmust be able to assemble, disassemble and repair specific product lines. To perform the job properly, the Assembly Technician I must have basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and ability to use common hand and power tools. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

  • Assemble entry-level products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.

  • Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.

  • Participate in the implementation of process improvements.

  • Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.

  • Maintain an orderly work environment.

  • Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.

  • Participate as a team member to achieve goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.

  • Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.

  • Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
