Job description

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to strengthen and improve enterprise applications in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania. This position supports critical business systems with an emphasis on Epicor, while working across departments to keep processes efficient, reliable, and aligned with operational goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of end-to-end business workflows, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn system and data insights into practical improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support for enterprise applications, with primary ownership of Epicor-related issues, enhancements, and user needs.
• Partner with teams across sales, customer service, production, purchasing, supply chain, quality, and finance to understand process challenges and improve system performance.
• Analyze business workflows spanning quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay to identify opportunities for better efficiency, accuracy, and system utilization.
• Develop reports, metrics, and key performance indicators by extracting and interpreting data to support informed decision-making.
• Investigate application problems, troubleshoot root causes, and coordinate solutions that minimize disruption to business operations.
• Translate business requirements into functional system updates, process improvements, and practical technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align application capabilities with operational and financial objectives.
• Support ongoing optimization efforts within the ERP environment, including testing, documentation, and user guidance for system changes.• Hands-on experience supporting Epicor or a comparable ERP platform in a business-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of core enterprise processes, including order management, purchasing, production, supply chain, quality, and finance.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret business needs and convert them into system-focused solutions and measurable outcomes.
• Experience creating meaningful KPIs, dashboards, or reports from operational data.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and comfort working in a cross-functional support role.
