Job Description
We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated entry-level Annuity Associate to join our Life Company Division. The position requires the person to:
  • Communicate verbally or through written correspondence with agents to ensure the expanded use of annuity products and services.
  • Key data from assigned source documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing requests from agents and policyholders, including but not limited to new business, basic policy changes, surrenders and transfers/rollovers/1035 exchanges.
  • Work effectively with co-workers, agents, policyholders or other departments as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, instructions, policy and procedure manuals and retain information for future use
  • Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to resolve complex issues
  • An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs
