Job Summary:
Under routine supervision, this position is an entry level role responsible for producing and overseeing basic graphic designs projects, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications (e.g. promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials) distributed through a variety of media outlets. This position will assist with annual campaign creative, with responsibility for visually relaying messaging in a manner that drives interest and elicits response. This position also participates in additional group functions including brainstorming and event marketing strategy.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver graphic design work and visual materials utilizing specific graphic design, web development, and animation/sound processing tools
  • Provide support for additional internal client needs
  • Work on cross channel campaigns including print media, outdoor media and digital media
  • Maintain on-brand creative, ensuring creative work produced is consistent with and cohesive to brand standards and objectives set by J.B. Hunt's enterprise marketing team
  • Participate in the collection of customer needs for graphic design work and provide suggestions to senior management on the implementation of strategic plans for graphic design
  • Interpret customers' design needs into feasible graphic design ideas and information; provide recommendations in the graphic design process

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, &/or military equivalent.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field with at least 1 year of experience in graphic design with experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:
  • Expertise in Creative Cloud, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Creative thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter; able to set priorities and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or in a team environment
  • Ability to take direction and constructive criticism well
  • Knowledge of design tactics for mobile marketing, social media marketing and email marketing practices
  • Photography experience is a plus
  • Animation/ Video GFX experience is a plus.

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
