Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
It's Day 1 for Amazon's next billion-dollar business and we are looking for a Program Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology and fulfillment, who thinks and acts globally, and has the ability to manage and implement solutions

As part of LEO's Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global fulfillment capabilities. Your expertise in supply chain technologies, combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach, will drive efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and elevate the overall fulfillment experience for LEO's global customers.
This role offers strong career progression opportunities, with a natural path toward operations leadership. Candidates will gain hands-on experience managing user acceptance testing (UATs) and system setup, developing the skills necessary to transition into operational roles over time.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with global supply chain partners to develop business launch schedules that align with LEO's unique business goals and regional demands
Lead cross-functional testing initiatives across Finance, Accounting, Trade, Transportation, Tax and Operations partners to ensure we will launch the business successfully
Drive project schedules from test to launch, adjusting the project plan proactively to avoid risks and issues
Proactively seek out program-wide risks and issues, effectively size the severity and likelihood of occurrence, and drive them to closure
Create and maintain best practices on the team, deal with ambiguity and competing objectives, and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
Write effective narratives and present them concisely and effectively to senior management.
Navigate through a large amount of ambiguity and drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups
Demonstrate crisp communication skills, have experience communicating project status to a broad audience and be willing to follow appropriate escalation channels to ensure delivery as planned
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S

citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
