We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents integrated with an existing Microsoft Fabric environment. You will work across Microsoft Copilot technologies, OpenAI APIs to create scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions that automate workflows, surface insights, and enhance business operations. 

This role requires hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, enterprise data integration, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and secure cloud-based AI deployments. 

This is a temporary, full time position onsite in New York City 5 days a week.

Role responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents using:  

• • Microsoft Copilot Studio  

• • OpenAI APIs and Azure OpenAI  

• Integrate AI agents with existing Microsoft Fabric infrastructure including:  

• • OneLake  

• • Power BI  

• • Data Factory  

• • Lakehouse environments  

• Build multi-step agent workflows capable of:  

• • Data retrieval and reasoning  

• • Task automation  

• • Workflow orchestration  

• • Conversational interactions  

• • Document analysis and summarization  

• Develop secure API integrations with enterprise systems and databases  

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using enterprise data sources  

• Create prompt engineering frameworks and reusable AI agent templates  

• Optimize AI agent performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency  

• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities  

• Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained across AI deployments  

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

• Strong experience with:  

• • Microsoft Copilot Studio  

• • Microsoft Fabric  

• • Azure OpenAI Service  

• • OpenAI APIs  

• Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows  

• Proficiency in:  

• • Python  

• • REST APIs  

• • JSON  

• • SQL  

• Experience with:  

• • Vector databases and embeddings  

• • RAG implementations  

• • Prompt engineering  

• • AI orchestration frameworks  

• Familiarity with:  

• • Azure services  

• • Power Platform  

• • Power Automate  

• • CI/CD pipelines  

• • Git version control  

• Experience deploying enterprise AI solutions at scale  

• Understanding of data governance and AI security best practices  

• Experience integrating AI into analytics and reporting environments  

• Knowledge of M365 Copilot ecosystem  

• Experience with multi-agent systems

This is a full time position based in New York City. The offered salary range is $165,000--$220,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
