Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As an IT Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple defense, civilian, and space domains by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering activities. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like model-based design, model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, and technical analyses. Grow your skills by merging technical engineering expertise and model-based engineering to create digital engineering solutions that drive client missions.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience administering IT enterprises with digital engineering tools, including Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, CATIA, or SolidWorks
  • 2+ years of experience with IT engineering and systems integration, including digital engineering tool integrations
  • Experience with IT systems accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO) or Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
  • Experience with networking and cybersecurity
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS GovCloud or Azure
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with requirements and architecture development across the systems development lifecycle
  • Experience building, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing applications within Linux or Windows operating systems
  • Experience analyzing IT systems and applications against SRG or STIG requirements
  • Experience performing analysis studies in a modeling and simulation environment
  • Experience supporting aerospace systems engineering activities
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • UML or SysML OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • Cloud Certification such as Cloud+ or AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional CSEP or ASEP Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
