TES Staffing is looking for someone who is ambitious, self-motivated, and ready to break into a career in Human Resources. No professional experience in HR? No worries-- we will train the right person!

So what's the job? This opportunity is high volume recruitment, administrative support, and employee relations within a small team who manage all of the recruiting, onboarding, staffing, and coaching for the culinary team at the largest university in Rochester. 
 
It's fast paced, always interesting and a real "HR boot camp" type of job.  From I9's, tax forms, background checks and interviewing; you'll see and do it all.

Pay: Starting at $40k + commission + yearly bonus. Dependent on experience
Base pay is weekly, commissions pay out Monthly
Benefits available after completion of probationary period: PTO, Sick Time, Retirement Plan with Company Match, & Health Care.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, in office, 7:30a-4:30p
Qualified candidates must:

  • Be comfortable working with a diverse population in a fast paced environment
  • Have a Bachelors Degree. Lesser education with experience will be considered
  • Be confident in basic computer skills such as data entry, formulating emails, and other software systems
  • Be meticulously organized and detail oriented
  • Fearless and willingness to learn and take direction 
  • Able to give direction or coaching clearly and calmly

Job Details:
  • People Management: Assist the team in recruitment and daily deployment of staff to multiple locations 
  • Ensure communication with clients and employees is clear, seamless and timely
  • Process all New Hire Paperwork (I9s, W4, etc) into internal systems
  • Data Enter staff into internal system, following all compliance requirements
  • Phone screen and face to face interview for potential employees  
  • Other duties as assigned
