Staff Accountant - Financial Shared Services
The Staff Accountant - Financial Shared Services plays a critical role in building a centralized and scalable accounting function that supports the organization's long-term growth. This position is responsible for delivering consistent, accurate, and high-quality financial information while advancing standardization, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing data governance across multiple business units.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, embraces continuous improvement, and seeks broad exposure across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Compliance
  • Perform general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processing, and fixed asset management.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, compliance activities, and documentation.

Process Standardization & Governance
  • Help develop, document, and maintain standardized accounting policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to data governance efforts to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of financial information across systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and improve reporting quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with teams across finance, operations, and shared services to improve process transparency and drive consistency.
  • Serve as a responsible steward of company assets and financial data, promoting strong ethical and control-focused behaviors.
