Job description

The HR Leave Specialist is responsible for assisting with administering and managing employee leaves of absence in accordance with federal, state and local laws, as well as company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study preferred
  • Two years' experience in HR and/or leave administration, including Worker's Comp, FLMA, STD/LTD and PFL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
  • Ability to work in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to bend and retrieve files and file documents.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Full-time, Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) 8am-4pm
Salary: $25-$29 an hour
